A CSA Membership or Online Store Gift Card!
Every year the Sharing Farm offers a spring/summer CSA membership - aka our Harvest Basket Program. This program allows you to subscribe to 17 weeks of fresh delicious produce from the Sharing Farm! We also have an Online Store and Farm Stand where you can purchase delicious seasonal produce, honey and fresh flower bouquets.
Now is the perfect time to give the gift of fresh veggies to someone you love.
CSA stands for Community Supported Agriculture.
A CSA is an opportunity for community members to buy shares of a farm's harvest in advance. In turn this supports the farm by guaranting a reliable income, and the CSA member enjoys a share of produce throughout the season.
Gift Giving at its Freshest
Giving the gift of a CSA Share/ Harvest Basket to a friend or family member would provide them with a weekly basket of sustainably-grown, fresh nutritious produce from late June/ early July to October, 2023. CSA Members pick up their Harvest Basket each Thursday at the Sharing Farm or in East Van. The weekly pickup is also a time to walk around our beautiful Farm and see where your food is grown. CSA Members receive a weekly newsletter about what's in their Harvest Basket & profiles of who's growing their food, along with a recipe for a featured vegetable.
CSA members are also given advance sign up opportunities for community events.
Alternatively, you could gift your loved one an E-Gift Card to our Online Store or Farm Stand. They could visit the Farm and pick out some delicious veggies or flowers to take home and enjoy.

By gift giving in this way you are supporting our ability to cultivate produce for those in our community who face food insecurity.
In 2021 we donated 22,257 lbs of produce to the Richmond Food Bank and community meal programs. By contributing now towards our 2023 harvest, you're also insuring that the Farm has guaranteed reliable income through the coming season.
