The Sharing Farm is pleased to announce that Leslie Williams has been appointed the Farm’s new Executive Director, effective June 1, 2022, following the resignation of Sarah Drewery.
Leslie has had extensive experience in a wide range of roles during her ten years at the Farm, most recently as Director of Operations. She is passionate about sustainable agriculture and food security, and will bring a deep commitment to the role. Sarah will continue to work for the Farm on an interim basis to facilitate Leslie's transition.
We will all be very sad to see Sarah go! She has contributed so much to the farm, from expanding our outreach and programming, to significantly increasing our financial stability. Sarah’s effervescence, sense of humour, collaborative spirit and willingness to jump in wherever she’s needed have made her a joy to work with, and she will be sorely missed. We hope she holds to her promise to come back and volunteer! Thanks Sarah for your six years of hard work and dedication. There will always be a cup of tea ready to brew for you here at the Farm.
