ActionVolunteer Call-Out: Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday
After a slightly longer-than-usual waiting period, the fields are now starting to dry out enough to work with!

I’ll be working at the farm next week Tuesday to Friday, likely long days, and am open to people coming out anytime! We’ve got the Grillo (rototiller) booked for next Friday, so that gives us a bit of a deadline for getting a lot of prep work done.

We’ve had a couple of great volunteer groups that have helped to get the ball rolling, but there’s a LOT to do yet in terms of preparation for tilling and planting. The goal is to get the fields cleared of their winter clothes (leaf mulch, crops from last year, weeds and plastic in the paths) and covered in manure prior to tilling.

This is a PERfect job for multiple people to work together on, the more hands the better.
