Community Supported Agriculture

What is CSA?

CSA (community supported agriculture) aims to connect consumers with local farmers. By purchasing a share of the season's produce in advance, CSA members directly support local farmers and receive a Harvest Basket filled with fresh, local, sustainably grown veggies on a weekly basis. Join us in addressing food security and promoting sustainable agriculture while enjoy the benefits of fresh, healthy produce weekly.

New! This year we are piloting the Friend of the Farm share as part of our CSA. This program is designed to be a more flexible way to join our CSA community. Check it out below!

Become a Friend of the Farm

Support the farm and our mission to address local food insecurity with sustainable agriculture

Join our CSA Community

Without the commitment of a weekly harvest box

We know that summer holidays, changing work schedules, and specific dietary preferences mean that the traditional CSA model of weekly Harvest Baskets does not work for everyone. So we’re introducing a new type of CSA (Community Supported Agriculture.)

This year we are piloting a new program: Friend of the Farm. This program allows you to support the Farm and our work by paying for your veggies up front, but you get to pick which veggies and when you want them. Like a traditional CSA, you become a Friend of the Farm in the winter or spring, to provide the farm with start-up income before the market season begins. Our Friend of the Farm program is flexible with five levels - $250, $350, $450, $550, $650 – depending on your veggie purchasing needs.

How it Works

You pick your share size and receive an e-card pre-loaded with your purchased amount, plus your Early Bird bonus. This card can then be used at our farm stand, at the various markets we participate in, and at our online store, allowing you to purchase any available produce of your choosing in the quantities you prefer.

Using Your Card

  • There are multiple ways to use your card:

    • Save your e-gift card number and show it to us at the farmstand/market for us to manually enter

    • Attach your email and/or phone number to the card and tell us at the Farmstand or market for us to look up your card on file.

    • Save your e-gift card to your apple wallet.

  • Save your e-gift card number to use on our online store for pick up at the farm or in East Van.

  • To check your balance or add funds, go to your original eGift Card email by clicking on View Your eGift Card.

  • You can top up your card throughout the season.

  • Unspent money will not roll over to the next year.
