The team at the Richmond Fruit Tree Sharing Project would like to extend our warmest wishes for a very happy new year to you and your family. Thank-you for helping us make 2011 so successful and here’s to an even better 2012!
 
While it may be difficult to get into the garden with the current weather, we thought you might be interested in the upcoming workshops and events.
 
 
1. Tai Chi Sun Style at the Sharing Farm on Sunday Mornings
 
Join instructor Anthony Lee Hem as he guides you through this short form of tai chi that has gained immense global popularity. This workshop is geared towards beginner and intermediate participants

2. Fruit Tree Pruning with Dr. Kent Mullinix
 
Dr. Mullinix has been hosting this hugely popular workshop for years at the farm. It combines both technical and practical informaiton. Theory takes place indoors and then after lunch, participants get to try their new skills on the fruit trees at Terra Nova. Light refreshments will be provided but please bring your own lunch and dress for outside work.

3. Seedy Saturday Richmond – March 3rd
 
Don’t forget to kick off the gardening season with a great stash of seeds. Come purchase or trade seeds inside the Red Barn. In addition to seeds, fruit trees and bushes will also be for sale along with fun activities for the kids like making seed bombs!
