Greeting Fruit Folks,

Thanks you very much to everyone who took the time to give me feedback regarding setting up our picking schedule.   Sorry I wasn’t able to reply individually to everyone, but it was appreciated.

The over all results are, much like life, that different days work for different people….go figure.

So I think for now we’ll try and balance our picks between different day.  Most likely with a pick Wednesday or Thursday in the evening, and one on either Saturday or Sunday in the morning.

And speaking of picks, our last one brought in over 25 lbs Blueberries!!  Nicely done.  Thanks to Janelle, Rob, Mabel, Carol, and Cheryl for coming out and volunteering their time.

We have another one coming up this Sunday, where we’ll be picking Apples.  It is as follows:

Where:   6711 Coltsfoot Drive  (link to map below)
    When:    Sunday, August 28th, 10:30am

This Apple tree is pretty tall, and will require the use of ladders to get at the fruit, so if you’re ladder-phobic I understand if you want to sit this one out.  However I’m hoping a few brave souls will come out to help.  It should probably take about an hour to pick with a couple of people.

As before, if you think you can come and help out, please drop me a quick e-mail.  Likewise, if anyone has any questions please feel free to let me know.

Thank again for all of your help, and see you soon!

Warm Regards

Geoff Snell
