As some of you may be aware, we are hosting a garlic festival in August. We’ve been preparing for this since last year when we purchased over $1000 worth of organic seed garlic from the Shushwap.

All was well, the garlic was growing, when suddenly it came time to harvest. The first few rows harvested quickly but soon filled up our garlic hanging area.

We weren’t even 1/10 of the way through! So, a second tent was conscripted and filled to capacity in a few hours. Not even half way there yet!! Yikes!!!

Thankfully, a friend of Mary’s offered his space. You’ll never guess where our garlic is hanging.
