A call-out from the Richmond Sharing Farm Orchard…

Hi everyone,
Spring may be slow in coming, but the apple trees at our Gilbert Rd. Orchard are in bloom and the pears are leafing out amazingly.  The orchard needs a lot of hands to help get our spring work done – we’re running to keep up!  So we’re calling a weekly work party for anyone who wants to come lend a hand with weeding, fertilising, mulching, and other tasks that arise as the season progresses.

Come for as little or long as you can…invite your friends…or meet new ones!

Weekly Thursday Orchard Work Parties
5:30-8:00pm
“Sharing Farm Orchard” at the dyke
Gilbert Rd. & Dyke Rd, beside the community allotment gardens

There’s something for everyone of all ages and abilities.
We will supply garden gloves and tools, but feel free to bring your own favourites.  If you bring  your own hand-weeding tool, you may want to label it.
Please bring your own water cups to keep hydrated – the water from the taps is good municipal drinking water.
