Dear Friends of the Farm,
We’ve said good-by to our summer interns but there’s still lots of produce in the fields. Kareno would REALLY love a hand. If you are able to come and volunteer for a couple of hours, we are harvesting and doing farm work on the following days:
Saturdays: 9am – 3pm
If you forgot to start your winter veggies, the Sharing Farm is the place to be this Saturday. We have the followng seedlings, all for $2:
Purple Sprouting Broccoli
January King Cabbage
El Dorado Swiss Chard
Red Russian Kale
Westland Winter Kale
All proceeds go to the farm. It’ll be the last week we have seedlings so come on out!
Wow, lots of people signed up for Ian’s Dry Rubs and Marinades class. We have the following coming up:
Wednesday Sept 8th – Wines & Vinegars – with Chef Ian Lai 6-8pm
Saturday Sept 18th – Build a Cold Frame – with Kimi Hendess
